Just A Note

What a quick and easy gift. Stamp up a dozen note cards and then color using your pencil crayons. I used a combination of PrismaColor and Laurentian pencils. Both are made by the same company, but PrismaColor is the better pencil for shading and blending. Only having half a dozen Prisma, however, I had no choice but use the Laurentian. Still, I was more than satisfied with the results - with the added plus of Laurentian being so much cheaper. Not much point spending a whole lot of money on pencil crayons unless you really get into the stamping.
The stamps used here are Bunny Love (High Hopes) and House Mouse Nose to Nose in Flowers (Stampendous) Both are available from www.scrappingreatdeals.com - an online Canadian scrapbooking store with great service and quick delivery.
Take a break from scrapbooking and put together a few note cards and/or greeting cards. So quick and easy to do. Below are greeting cards made using stamps from Stampin Up: Lovely as a Tree is a set of 6 ‘tree’ stamps. What an incredibly versatile stamp set. I used just one of the set to create a birthday card suitable for male friends and family members. Upsy Daisy is a set of 4 stamps: the daisy silhouette and three phrase stamps. I like the combination of brown and yellow in these birthday cards. Used the Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder for the yellow background.
