May 24th Weekend

May already! Wonder if the campers are ready - what with the May 24 weekend falling on the 18th. Get the camera ready and beware the bears. Here’s the perfect layout for that camping/fishing expediditon. Check the link Camp Out at the right. The patterns are the design of Jackie Spurrell and will be available in her online store, slated to launch late June.
After finishing this layout, took a little time out to stamp. Just finished a couple dozen of what I call “Hubby Hugs”. Throw out the yellow sticky notes and leave him a ‘hubby hug” - sweet little reminders he won’t forget!

Three weeks into my most recent scrapbooking classes and very much enjoying the company of four very talented ladies. A couple of the girls have been scrapbooking quite some time. They’ve brought their albums to class to show the rest of the group. Some gorgeous layouts! They certainly did not need lessons in the basics but came along to learn the technique of paper piecing. Already they are creating their own patterns and doing a super job of it.
