Happy Birthday Dawn

Have been working mostly on patterns for Paper and Piecings and have had far too little time to scrapbook or blog. We continue to add patterns and have added a link to supply free weekly downloads. Still lots of work to do - haven’t put up the gallery yet, and there are many many patterns still to prepare. We’ll get there. All things in good time.
Checked out some of the new A Muse Christmas stamps last week at the Paperie in St. John’s. Did an afternoon class and here are some of my creations. I burned the snow and smeared the holly on these two cards but time spent with my sister is always fun; the cards are secondary. The snow and holly are Liquid Applique by Marvy which you apply and puff up/dry with your hair dryer or heat gun. I like the product in spite of my less than stellar results.
A little more success with the next two. I really liked the evergreen bough and the pine cone and ended up purchasing both of these stamps.
Enjoyed the class but having most fun playing with my new Copics and Magnolia stamps. Here are a couple cards finished last night - one for my daughter-in-law. Happy Birthday Dawn! The other is definitely a ’school’ card and can be personalized with a white gel pen. I just love these stamps. They are too cute! Im going to stamp off a bunch of images to share with my scrapping buddies at our ‘retreat’ in September. That’s how I got hooked - someone shared a couple stamped images with me.
Also bought my Big Shot into St. John’s with me and my little sis had a grand time stacking up on die cuts. The top note was a favorite with her and she cut out several bag toppers for kitty treats she’s preparing for her Fall Fair. The stamps are from a Hero Arts set.
That’s it for now. Back to the paper piecings at www.paperandpiecings.com. Take a minute and drop by. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter for free patterns. We’d love to hear from you.
Cheers!
Jean
