Have been busy making cards for Christmas - though not necessarily Christmas cards. My daughter-in-law plans on giving gifts of card assortments to a couple of her friends for Christmas. What a neat idea! Seems my grandson is invited to a birthday party a week and his mom is off to baby showers on a pretty regular basis, so for sure a basket of assorted cards will be a welcome and appreciated gift.
Have to admit to caseing quite a few cards I received in a recent card swap - that’s what it’s all about right? - but I made a boo-boo. Forgot to note where the cards came from and being it that I also used the card fronts to make more cards . . . My apologies for not giving you due credit this time. Won’t make that mistake again.
This first one is cased from a card received by friend Kelley in a swap. The second and third - variations of that same card using some gorgeous tags I received in another swap.
Not entirely sure whose card I cased for the following, but know I loved the colors used for the snowflakes (Serene Snowflakes stamp set by Stampin’Up)
oops! Think that one is upside down!
Cased this robot card from Cheryl Cook, SU Demonstrator, Newfoundland. Love the colors!
Digital stamping is something new to me but I’m loving the gorgeous digis I’m finding and so many freebies to try out.
This little fellow with the rosebud is turtle-y awsome!
And I’m loving the cool cat from Hambo stamps, another freebie.

Just emailed the free pattern Movie Night to subscribers at paperandpiecings.com, our online pattern store for paper piecing. From time to time - and hopefully on a more regular basis as time wears on - we’ll be sending our subscribers a free pattern. In the meantime, for the next couple weeks only, this same pattern is available here (see link below post) though we strongly encourage you to drop on over to paperandpiecings.com and subscribe to our newsletter to ensure you get all future free downloads. By the way, Paper and Piecings is also offering its subscribers the opportunity to earn another free pattern from paperandpiecings.com. Create something wonderful from the pattern Movie Night - a card, a layout, a 3D project - and email us a photo of the finished product to upload in our gallery. We’ll send you a FREE pattern - your choice - from paperand piecings.com by way of thanks.

Here’s what we did with the pattern Movie Night:
Grab the popcorn and settle in. Saturday night is movie night at our house and for sure I can find a few pictures of my favorite couch potatos to showcase in this cute double page layout.
This pattern is no longer available as a freebie.
