Riddle me this: What’s black and white and red all over?

Looks like it’s going to be another busy week. Number one son is on the move again and somehow I always seem to get involved in transporting goods from here to there. Makes no difference the size of the moving van, Mom’s car always gets called into service for something or other! So . . very little time for the craft room and the few cards I did make are ‘just scraps’ thrown together in much the same manner the leftover boxes and bags are thrown in Mom’s car on moving day. Still, not bad all considered.
The paper is actually from a package of Christmas papers - I know, doesn’t look much like Christmas paper, does it? I used a whole bunch of Stampin’Up products here: the new two-step bird punch, the Little Leaves Sizzlit die, the BigShot Daisy die, and two of my favorite and most used punches, The Word Window and Modern Label. Doesn’t matter what sentiment I want, if I don’t have the stamp, I can type it on computer and print on cardstock. For these two cards, though, I used sentiments from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Aren’t they pretty?

This card is totally cased but seened to fit the whole black and white and red I’ve got going on this week. The template is Lynn Pratt’s and she offers it freely at www.stampndesign.blogspot.com. I used the Swirly folder and Cuttlebug to emboss the white cardstock and my Copics (R29) to color the ‘carnation’ - picked up a branch of little white silk flowers dirt cheap at the dollar store. The card opens in the center under the dress. This would make a nice Graduation card too - just personalize the dress. Thanks Lynn!
