Challenge #20 - Round and Red

Posted: September 19th, 2010 by Jean

Congratulations to Michelle who won the blog candy for Challenge #19 - Back to School. Email me with your snail mail address, Michelle, and I’ll get a little something in the mail to you. Thanks for playing along.

Got together with a couple of my scrapping buddies this weekend - Friday evening and Saturday - and finished a couple layouts of the boys. Stayed close to home for this get together and with a fire in the loft, it was more than cozy.

Max came to spend (stay overnight) Saturday evening and we woke to a beautfiul sunny Sunday. Great day for berry picking so that’s what we did. Loads of partridge berries just behind the house. I’m not one for picking berries, but this was too easy!

The berries are my inspiration for this week’s challenge - round and red - interpret it as you will.

Be sure to sign on with Mr. Linky below. Mr. Linky closes again in two weeks, Sunday, October 3rd,  at which time I’ll draw for a little candy.

Have a great week!

Sisters

Posted: September 14th, 2010 by Jean

I have two beautiful sisters - one seven years older, one seven years younger.  Jackie is the younger sister- crazy, zany, nutty and sooooo much fun to be with. She’s asked for a story. Here it is Jack.  I wrote it a few years back but it’s as pertinent today as it was then.

And for those of you who have zany, crazy, bossy sisters - or perhaps you’re the zany, crazy, bossy one - I think you’ll like this. It’s not made up - it’s true - and those are the very best stories of all.

Here goes.
