Can’t help it folks - with school starting for me on Tuesday, this HAD to be a Back to School Challenge. Dare I say it? I am very much looking forward to getting back to work and into a regular routine. So many of you have been posting school related projects for ages now - couldn’t help but borrow a few. This little fellow is an image from Mo Manning and the layout is one I copied from someone out there in blog land. Too cute!

Hurray! Treat bags!

Lynn Pratt’s bus is amazing and found directions for the little notebook on another blog - can[t remember where.

Be sure to sign on with Mr. Linky below. Mr. Linky closes again in two weeks, Sunday, September 19th, at which time I’ll draw for a little candy.
Thanks everyone for your ‘fussy cutting’ entries. Beautiful. This week’s winner is Linda B, #1, and I used random.org this week to draw a winner. Linda, contact me at justscraps@gmail.com with your snail mail address and I’ll get a parcel in the post later this week. And for Einat, Challenge #17, still need your mailing address.
Have a great week folks!

#1 son celebrated his 27th on Thursday. I finished his card on Friday - I did give him a lovely store-bought on Thursday - shame, oh shame - but it’s been that kind of a week. Plodding along at home all week trying to tuck two tons of stuff into a one ton space and busy at work as well. Threw out my back on Friday - what did I do? I moved - turned my head - that’s it! Can you believe it? Wasn’t sure I could have my grandson with me Friday night but he came for a few hours after all and was quite understanding of Grammy’s bad back. He didn’t want to ’spend’ anyway (spend means stay all night) - don’t think he’s totally cool with Grammy’s new digs yet.
A couple days late, but here’s the card. Purchased the image from Mo’s Digital Pencil a while back specifically for my son’s upcoming birthday. I think he may have been born with a control pad in his hand and at 27, he’s as much into gaming as ever he was, except perhaps from a different angle. He owns a number of on-line sites, www.gamesnipe.com being one of his more active. This image of Mo’s Video Kid seemed perfect for his birthday card. Colored it up with Copics.

Love this image from Mo’s Digital Pencil. Purchased it a little while back and colored it up with my Copics last night. Friday night is movie night at our house and I am always found curled up on the corner of the couch with one eye on the movie and one eye on my coloring.
Used the images to put together these cards today and quite please with how they turned out. I’ve taken to ’decorating’ the inside of my cards lately - something I see a lot of on other peoples’ blogs - looks so nice decided I’d try it too. You’ll have to take my word for it on these as I didn’t take pictures of the insides.
I’m still groping about for things after the move - don’t have my own computer hooked up yet - and while it’s a nuisance, I am, of necessity, learning new things. Like how to use http://www.resize2mail.com/ to edit and upload my pictures to this site. Slow but adequate if you’re stuck.

Some tedious cutting on the second card. I used Flower Soft for the bank of snow. Wish it were fluffier Any tips? Also sprayed the card with Glimmer Mist though it doesn’t show well in the picture.

Not sure what’s with the winter pictures when we’ve been getting such lovely spring weather this past week. My crocuses are up! And here I am coloring snowsuits and boots!
