Needed a wedding card and knew as soon as I saw this week’s sketch exactly what I wanted to do with it. That actually got lost somewhere along the creative process (l0l) but I’m still pleased withthe result.
The bride and groom are from the Cricut Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and are cut at 4-1/2″. The cardstock and DP are Stampin’Up and the stamps I do and forever are All Night Media clear stamps (Wedding Bells). To have and to hold also All Night Media - I used my SU marker to stamp part of the sentiment and fit it inside a 2-7/8″ diameter circle. The card is 4-3/4 x 7-1/4. I like it. (And I want the bride’s waistline!)
Check out our own card challenge in the post below!

Here is this week’s sketch:

And my interpretation this week:

Downloaded this digital image just a couple days ago and jotted down the source but for the life of me, can’t find that note right now. Will update this post when I do and my apologies for not giving credit right now. It’s a darling image and I love that I can personalize the envelope. Please drop me a line if you can help out with the source. As per usual I am taking my pictures in the evening light - not great - so decided instead to scan the card. The true colors are actually softer and much prettier. No particular papers used here - just scraps from the stash. The sentiment I typed on my computer and printed on pink cardstock.
Thanks again to the Mojo Makers for inspiring. If I get nothing else done this week with paper, I will have at least finished one card!
Update: Just found the source of this cute freebie. It’s wink wink ink - some beautiful digis here!

Here’s my spin on this week’s sketch. There’s always a need of birthday cards for Max to give his friends and this little guy is so cute. Perfect card for little boys, I’m thinking. Stamped first layer and then stamped, colored and cut the second layer rather than try to cut around those tiny arms and antennae. The robot is an acrylic stamp from Sandylion and the center sentiment a rub-on from Cosmo Cricket. Nuts and bolts and Happy Birthday Human from StampinÚp set Lots of Bots - really cute stamp set that includes three different robots though much smaller than the stamp used on this card. Chocolate chip ribbon from SU and the bits and pieces of paper? just scraps from my stash. Thanks to the Mojo Makers for the weekly inspiration!
