Spent a few minutes this evening tidying away in the loft. I’ve been working on cards for a couple swaps and had quite the mess on my desk. In tucking things away - and there’s always a fair bit of tucking as space is ever an issue - I pushed this to one side and that to another and wondered, ” How much of this stuff do I really need?” All of it!
I love collecting stamps - especially those from the dollar bin. The cheaper the stamp, the easier it is to justify the purchase and the fact that you already have a bunch still in plastic doesn’t really matter now, does it?
So that’s the challenge this week. You have to use one of your bargain stamps! Be sure to tell us how much - or how little - you paid for this little treasure. Look forward to seeing your cards. I’m hoping to use some of my little gems too.
Congratulations to Hazel who won the blog candy for Challenge #20 Round and Red. Email me with your snail mail address, Hazel, at justscraps.ca@gmail.com and I’ll get a little something in the mail to you. Thanks for playing along.
Partridge berries are very much like cranberries, I think, Susan. They make great jam - my favorite - and if you don’t have cranberries for your turkey dinner - the partridgeberries are just as good if not better! We picked a few more today.

Got together with a couple of my scrapping buddies this weekend - Friday evening and Saturday - and finished a couple layouts of the boys. Stayed close to home for this get together and with a fire in the loft, it was more than cozy.

Finished a layout on both boys.

Max came to spend (stay overnight) Saturday evening and we woke to a beautfiul sunny Sunday. Great day for berry picking so that’s what we did. Loads of partridge berries just behind the house. I’m not one for picking berries, but this was too easy!

The berries are my inspiration for this week’s challenge - round and red - interpret it as you will.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in our last challenge. Einat, I pulled your name out of the butter tub this week and if you send me your snail address, I’ll get a little package in the mail.
Came across the term ‘fussy cutting’ on someone’s blog a little while back and just loved the phrase - don’t know if it’s original to that particular person or if it’s a phrase common to the craft. No matter, I love it. Fussy cutting -perfect description for some of the work behind so many of the cards and layouts I see so many of you do. And certainly perfect for this one. Don’t know why on earth I’d choose a card with ‘fussy cutting’ for a card swap - I have to do twenty plus - but I’m hoping everyone will like it. I do.

Soooo - challenge for this fortnight: Let`s see a little fussy cutting on your card or layout.
