A little bit of brown - a little bit of color.

This is the prototype of the wedding name tags. Not great lighting, not a great picture, but you get the idea. My niece will be married outside in her parents’ garden and they have an absolutely fabulous garden so the decorating ‘theme’ is flowers, flowers, and more flowers - in every color of the rainbow.

Also working on a scrapbook I started a couple weeks ago at retreat after seeing a very similar album one of the ladies had completed. I love the paper (Stampin’Up) and was able to use lots of scraps of brown - big and small. This was a joy to do. I am truly blessed with two beautiful grandsons.

Still More Black and White and Red

Posted: March 12th, 2010 by Jean

This card is totally cased but seened to fit the whole black and white and red I’ve got going on this week. The template is Lynn Pratt’s and she offers it freely at www.stampndesign.blogspot.com. I used the Swirly folder and Cuttlebug to emboss the white cardstock and my Copics (R29) to color the ‘carnation’ - picked up a branch of little white silk flowers dirt cheap at the dollar store. The card opens in the center under the dress. This would make a nice Graduation card too - just personalize the dress. Thanks Lynn!

Mojo Monday

Posted: March 2nd, 2010 by Jean

Needed a wedding card and knew as soon as I saw this week’s sketch exactly what I wanted to do with it. That actually got lost somewhere along the creative process (l0l) but I’m still pleased withthe result.

The bride and groom are from the Cricut  Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and are cut at 4-1/2″. The cardstock and DP are Stampin’Up and the stamps I do and forever are All Night Media clear stamps (Wedding Bells). To have and to hold also All Night Media - I used my SU marker to stamp part of the sentiment and fit it inside a 2-7/8″ diameter circle. The card is 4-3/4 x 7-1/4.  I like it. (And I want the bride’s waistline!)

Check out our own card challenge in the post below!
